[GAMEPLAY] ARAM not giving Key fragments

I know that statistics don't guarantee anything. However, they can point towards something being wrong when your error % is way off.

I've played 3 Summoner's Rift and gotten 2 Key Fragments. I know a few friends who total having around 6 games on Summoner's Rift and getting 3 or 4 keys fragments. I personally have played 10+ ARAM games with 0 keys. I know of no one who has gotten key fragments from ARAM (probably a total of another 10-15 ARAM gams). There are a bunch of Reddit posts where people claim to not have gotten any ARAM Key Fragments.

Is ARAM key fragment drop rate extremely low or bugged?

I haven't received any key fragments from ARAM either. I know the hextech crafting guide said that key fragments would drop on ARAM and Twisted Treeline and that more friends playing means it is more frequent but I have played 5 ARAMs in a row with a 5-man team and received nothing.

The riot page itself says they should drop in ARAM, and I have played at least 30 ARAMs since the update and gotten 0.

I contacted Riot support and they said that winning 13 ARAM games since the update and not getting a single key fragment is just bad luck. I don't think anyone has gotten a key fragment from ARAM. I think it is a bug.

I've played about 15 games, winning 11 in a row with zero shards. Not sure if winning is a req but I have and still nothing. ARAM doesn't seem to be a valid choice if you are trying to get keys. Just something good when it happens but I wouldn't play them hoping for drops. Disappointing since I usually play only ARAMs.

Edit: Up to about 30 games now with 24 wins and still zero shards.

I was curious also about it getting in arams, but can't find any confirmation regarding anyone actually receiving it but did find this.

Keys, perhaps unsurprisingly, open chests. Key fragments will sometimes drop after victory in any matchmade game mode--unlike chests, you can earn keys in ARAM or Twisted Treeline. Three key fragments can be forged into a single key; you can also purchase keys through the store for RP. Key fragments drop a little more frequently when you play with friends!"

Bro i just won 6 games in a row with 0 key frags. Premade 4 or 5. In NORMALSSSS.... I think the % to get a frag goes down significantly when you're about to get your third. Cause the first two usually come in a game or two.

10th Game today 5v5 Normal Summoners ..people have been gettin S / S- ive had an S today and nothing has been dropped ..pretty dissapointed to be honest ..i had 3 frags last night and nothing today at all.

I won 20+ games on SR since Hextech went live, and ive only gotten 3 fragments.

They only drop where champion mastery is a thing I believe.
