Really annoying ping bug

I can't tell you how many rocket grabs, morg bindings, or sej ults, or any key skillshot in general i have missed due to this bug.

It happens when i use a champion with a key skillshot, for example blitz, when i play these champions i like to turn smartcast off for that skill specifically, so i can aim it better, however sometimes when i press q and the outline pops up, i press left click and it PINGS, MULTIPLE TIMES, UNTIL I PRESS RIGHT CLICK TO CANCEL THE ABILITY.

So many fights were lost because of this bug, so many kills escaped, so many deaths that could have otherwise been prevented.

Riot i am in pain. Help.
