Stuck at loading screen for upwards of 10 minutes
Hi, ever since the new game client update came about, I have been totally at the mercy of a wishy-washy loading screen.
Sometimes it loads just fine and I just carry on. Sometimes I am stuck and when I pull up Activity Monitor, it shows as normal and NOT as (Not Responding). I basically have to force-close it from there and then use the sub-window of the League client 'Reconnect' button and it will take a couple solid minutes but at least it WILL load me in then.
Also, not sure if relevant in the slightest as it's only happened once per instance but about halfway through my waiting, there is a sharp noise like the DANGER! sound effect or a very hard WHOOSH (not sure what to compare that one to) for a split second and never happens again with that particular instance.
I am extremely disappointed in this as nothing on my end is changing to even have the slightest, most remote possibility of making my computer 'hiccup'. No background programs. My internet has a VERY strong and VERY stable connection. League will be the only program running. Not even my bloody screensaver is coming on at any point inbetween matches!
I have tried the repair tool. I have tried re-installing the game altogether.
I've even done various things to my computer just out of sheer paranoia to clean it out.
ADDITIONALLY, even before the client update, I have been receiving the dialogue box about allowing or denying incoming connections to the game but these have never interfered with my ability to load into a game. I have already checked that my Security Preferences do allow them. I have even taken it off and re-added it. I have even tried playing a game WITHOUT a Firewall (but put it back on after the same dialogue box still appeared regardless).
This is all on your end, Riot. I'm not impressed.
