[GAMEPLAY] Screenshots i take in game doesnt look the way they are supposed to

My lol screenshots are looking really buggy :/

So, i noticed that my screenshots started to look really strange. Most of the time when i make a Quadra or a Pentakill i tend to take a quick screenshot of it and send it to my friends to show them that i did something cool.(And they do this too). And in the past few weeks my screenshots have started to look like the examples i have included: The multikill titles and the name tags are colored black and the chat sometimes also looks a bit strange. And i think the overall quality of the screenshots is worse. (And strangly, if you try to zoom in on the picture in imgur everything brightens up and the title and the names become white.) One of my friends is also experiencing this and i would really apprciate a fix for this.

I think that's a problem with Imgur, since I'm able to toggle back and forth between black/white "PENTAKILL" just by clicking on the image. That couldn't happen if it was a problem with the screenshot itself.

What happens when you post your screenshot in Paint instead?

In paint it looks white, and when i just open it with out paint just by itself its black. I dont understand whats going on here.

What are you doing to open it outside of Paint? Are you saving it from paint, then opening it?

When I open the full image from imgur in a separate window, I can resize it however big or small I want and still get white text. That implies that it's a problem with how imgur is making the thumbnail.

No, im just clicking on it to see the image on a bigger scale without paint. I didnt even try paint until you told me to. It seems if i use somekind of program to open it it turns white, but without any, its black. And neither of them is supposed to happen.

OK, opening it up in Gimp I found the problem. How it became a problem, I've got no clue, but I found it!

Everything that's transitioning White to Black is actually Transparent. You're seeing White or Black depending on the application's background. If you open the picture on a Red background all that text turns Red.

So... yeah, no clue how that happened. But the good news is you can fix it pretty easily.

Simplest solution: when you hit the print screen button, open Paint, paste the image, then save it. Last I checked Paint can't save transparent PNG's, but if you want to be extra certain save it as a JPG instead.
