[CLIENT/CRASH] Issues with Windows 10

Hey,

I am making this thread just to give a warning to anyone who is planning on upgrading to Windows 10. Ever since upgrading to Windows 10 a few days ago League has been crashing and lagging incredibly hard for me.

I have tested other online games through steam as well as other free to plays such as hearthstone and heroes of the storm and I have no gotten any lag through them. I really hope this is fixed soon.

Also if by any chance this is only happening to me, does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

I am crashing but not getting any lag. At first I had no hud in the featured game mode but a repair fixed that. Now in both trhat mode and ranked solo queue my screen will lock up but the game is still playing in the background. I can still type in chat and sounds play and everything. I have to force quit the game and reconnect to play. Windows 10 as well of course.

Two nights ago I updated my laptop to the news Windows 10, it's been nice and everything seems to actually run a lot smoother(I.E Facebook, Google Chrome, etc.). Even my league client and my ability to switch between the tabs in the client like the shop, skins, champs, masteries, etc. seems to be a lot smoother. The one main problem I'm getting is an EXTREME FPS drop...Previously my laptop ws able to run L.o.L at 60 FPS on max settings with no problem, but now I can't even get more than 20 FPS even when but on the lowest of low settings. I guess to cut to the chase I'm hoping someone here has a solution or at least is experiencing similar problems just so I'm not alone on this matter. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

TL;DR - Windows 10 fucked up my fps from 60 on max settings to under 20 on the lowest settings...HELP

^^^^I posted a thread on this board as well with that message but yours seems to be getting more fame. I'm hoping that there is a solution to some of these problems soon.

UPDATE: I was able to resolve this problem with a couple simple steps.

1.) Press the Windows key + R 2.) Type in msconfig and go to the SERVICES tab 3.) Check the small box which says "Hide all Microsoft Services" 4.) Click "Disable All" 5.) Go to Start up Tab and disable everything in there aswell. 6.) Restart your computer and re-run League of Legends

I'm not sure this will fix anything for anyone else or not but it sure as hell helped me. Everything seems normal with my client now. I wish everyone luck!

After a long time of trying to fix my own issues with LOL lately... Trying everything on their recommended pages and what ever I found online I sent in the needed logs to the Tech support and got this back:

Sorry about that, I imagine it all started after Windows 10 Anniversary update?

We can't remove LeaverBuster so could you try this tutorial and then enter custom games alone:

To turn off the Game DVR feature in the Windows 10, please do the following:

Open the Xbox app by going to the Search bar on the bottom left of the screen and typing "Xbox" Click on the Settings (Gear) icon on the left. Click on Game DVR at the top. Click on the On/Off (switch) under "Record game clips and screenshots using Game DVR" to turn it off. (it should be gray and set to "Off") * So in short.. If anyone recently got this issue skip all the recommended stuff.. And go for that first.... Takes you 1 minute........

Yeess, It's happening to me too.... League starts lagging, fps drops and then crashes my whole pc, not just the League app.. Same happens with CSGO.. I think it's becouse of the Windows 10 Anniversary update, when I first installed league on Windows 10 it worked fine untill some new update.. :(
