Jungling Bug?

Ever since the new patch I have had issues counter jungling. It's not because of my character's stats or the inability to harm the other champ or clear fast enough. The issue lies with the new layout. When I sneak up on an enemy jungler doing a buff, I can be in the bushes and haven't attacked them or the creeps yet. What will happen is that the jungle creep closest to the bush will begin attacking me instead of them. Within moments this will let them know that I am in the bush and will make it pointless to reveal myself as they will flash over the wall or stop doing the buff in general and it becomes a chasing situation rather than an assassination attempt. The enemy would respond faster, if they were doing the buff and the bushes were warded so I am 100% sure that they aren't when this error occurs.
