Nami ult bug

Yesterday I watched an enemy Nami use her ultimate only to have it stopped entirely after the wave started moving, but there was no Yasuo or Braum in the game. I believe it stopped as the wave hit a minion with my top laner teleporting onto it. I can't verify this is what caused it but it's probably worth looking into.
