Stuck in Champ Select

I'm on the final game of provisional ranked solo queue, and I'm stuck in the champ select. It said there was a connection error, but it won't let me exit. When I try to close out of champ select, it gives me a warning saying that I will lose LP and everything. However I'm not seeing any other way out. Will I be penalized if I manually close champion select, despite it going nowhere?
