League TM Client Froze My PC Completely!

As you can tell by the name of this post there isn't much more to tell. I have no idea why it froze my entire PC. I couldn't alt+tab or end the Process. Now I'm going to go off topic a bit, but this is still a but report. At the moment I happened to had barely started a ranked match. Which later led to my team remaking the match and I took a loss. I don't really see why I should be punished for a fault in the client. You might think that maybe its my computer but i assure you it's not. I have a 2.4 GHz Quad core APU, 8GB of ram, and an Amd Radeon R5 GPU. Honestly i feel like its not my fault and I shouldn't be penalized, but yeah. I know this drifted a bit from being a bug report but honestly it is, and i hope this is fixed.
