League launches/maximizes either blacked out or as a tiny white rectangle

I have a bug, I have had it on the old client and the new one. I have done full repair, uninstall and reinstall. It affected both my laptop and my desktop. League about 70% of the time when I maximize it(when it had been minimized), launch it or the client relaunches after a match, will appear either completely black or as just a tiny white rectangle that can be dragged around. I have sent in probably nine or ten of the bugsplats on this over multiple patches over several months but usually it doesn't even bugsplat, it just has to be closed with the task manager and relaunched, sometimes several times in a row, to work again.

Anybody else experience this? Is there a known fix? This is actually preventing me from wanting to play more than once a day or so.
