This game isn't playable anymore

Over the last week I've lost 3 or 4 ranked games from the attempting to reconnect bug, and have had many people on both teams never even connect. This problem has been happening for the past 3 months or so and with how bad its gotten as of recent, I can't say I have any confidence that its going away. I'm sick of it, and I'm starting to not even find the game fun. Just to make matters worse, I was forced into "promising not to leave any more games".

Every time it happens I can't help but to think about how much I just want to find another game to play and quit league. I know that I probably won't be able to quit, but I really wish I was able to.

basically, fuck you Riot Games, for worrying about splash art more than connection problems. Fix your fucking servers, fix your fucking bugs, put a fucking server on the east coast, or something. Obviously shit isn't going right, because in the past I don't know HOW many games, at least 2 people don't connect right away, and whichever team is LUCKY if they even do connect at all. NOW it's MY turn to have the "firewall bug" everyone is talking about. FIX YOUR FUCKNIG GAME AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT SPLASH ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been experiencing what I believe is some version of this. "Attempting to reconnect" frequently occurs during the game, or the game will time out during load in. I connect to menu, chat fine. But once I'm in game, dc's come periodically. Makes it so I can't play the game effectively, or I'll get banned by leaver buster and my ranking will go to crap.

I looked into supposed firewall issues/fixes, when deep into advanced settings and made sure to enable all inbound league of legends stuff, still no solution. Very aggravating.

This issue is new to 4.21 for me, never had trouble connecting/staying on for an entire game (other than when Riot's servers go down entirely, etc.).

Honestly. These connectivity issues have been left unchecked for far far too long. This whole year has been a nightmare. Riot really needs to consider a change in staff, or policy. This is unacceptable. Something or someone is responsible. If it is something, then fix it. If it is someone, this has been ongoing for too long. They need to go.

seriously, this kind of bullshit is bound to make me quit League of Legends forever and play only Vainglory, may have more trolls in that game but at least I connect EVERY time!

So after taking 3 days off, I decided to get on and play a few games. I won the first 3, and then I lost the 4th to the attempting to reconnect bug. Honestly, I just really need to quit this game and move onto something else.

Yeah really sucks. Especially in a close game, and your the jungler, then boom. Disconnected. By the time you come back, there isnt much you can do.

Maybe people are DDoSing you guys? You should probably report it to Riot via player support if you suspect anyone in your game of DDoSing you.

Oh no. I'm not saying it has anything to do with LoL's bad servers. I'm just saying its very foolish to spend any amount of money on a gaming PC and then play via WIFI.

I don't think this would actually have much of a significant impact if you have good internet.
