Can't get to champ loading screen

Ever since like halfway into patch 4.17 I haven't been able to get into the champ loading screen at all. Like, I can load League fine, I can do everything in League like play with my items and shop fine, but when I try to play a game I get to champ select, choose my dude, and then...black screen. Every. Time. When I read you were working on a mac bug I kind of assumed this is what you meant but I guess it isn't. I would love to be able to play League again so if someone could look at this I'd appreciate it.
