Log-in music playing through out game when re-logging and failure to re-log.

I was playing a normal draft 5v5 game when I noticed that it took almost 3 seconds for my abilities to activate if at all. (I was playing Cho'gath and my Qs just were not going off when I told them to or not at all) So I told my team mates that I was lagging really bad and tried a reconnect. (Has worked for me before) However once logged of my game refused to reconnect to the game. I tried three times but each time I would get to 100% and just sit there watching my ping jump from 64 to 224 until I tried again. Finally I killed my league and restarted the whole thing only to have the log-in music follow me into game. So I had the pirate ya ya ya song blaring at full power while trying to apologize to my team.

I will point out that this is not the first time I've had the log-in music follow me past the screen but never into a game before. (Admittedly I don't normally leave during games so this may just be linked to that specific circumstance)
