Ekko E and Q bug?

So I've noticed that every time I try to use my E while playing Ekko and then immediately follow up with a Q, my Q seems to go in a complete different direction than where I'm aiming

Is this an actual bug or?

If so, I hope it gets fixed because it's pretty annoying
