Played 2 games with my friend, he got LP for one?

He got credit for only one game even though we played 2 games. He played jg and won and support and won.

Do you literally have to play the same role to climb this system??? Doesn't it splash?? What is happening with his??

Each role will have its own rankings, the way it works is if he is a G1 jungle, but maybe not so great on support, maybe silver. If he gets off rolled, he will still be in gold due to his jungle mmr, but will lose less LP for a fill/off role that is lower in rank. At least that is how I understand it.
