As the title states, a Blitzcrank can complete his knock up even if Fizz is "untargetable". I get pre-existing effects can still affect Fizz mid E like tethers or DoTs, but Blitzcrank's E should count as an auto attack. I know you don't really run into this bug much only if it's OFA Fizz vs Blitz, but it's still a bug nonetheless.
Its not a bug, its intended. Some patches ago they changed blitz e so it cant be interupted. Fizz is untargetable, but if he is already targeted and blitz e starts it will go through. Blitz can also knockup vlad when he goes into his pool. Kinda similar efffect, when kled q is on fizz he can pull him down from his pole.
Its because he is punching fizzs staff and knocking him down. (The concept being fizz is standing on top of his staff balancing during E)
