Kalista being untargetable for AA jumps?

So I was doing a game as . fell real hard early game as a bot would just flash onto me, push me into kalista then they kept CCing and killing me under turret. and by 6 for them (I was 4...) they decided to lane swap top. which got me some kills as the top/mid laner kept 1v2ing me and my support bla bla bla, I am in a 1v1 with kalista. I am half HP and she is like 200. every time she used her passive's jump I would stop targeting her and target something else. so I could hardly hit her. and sometimes I was just unable to AA anything altogether after her jumps I had auto attacks on (automatically target something else after the thing you were attacking is gone) so is there a sort of invincibility frame in 's passive? sadly I don't have a video I share (or know HOW the share at least) so I guess the way to replicate this is have a kilista and an ADC with the auto attack setting on then have kalista auto attack and hop around. maybe put some things you can attack nearby and see if you hit those. assuming riot has a sort of testing mode that 2 people can be in
