This has been reported since Conqueror was introduced. It's time to make this rune work properly.
Ekko's passive doesn't give any stack for Conqueror. For instance, I auto a champion and Q them. The Q provides the remaining 2 stacks for Ekko passive and triggers his 3rd proc. damage. Conqueror remains at the same stacks even though this is a separate damage source.

It's not though. That's totally false. As even in the example, I am activating passive WITHOUT AUTO ATTACKING. You can even Q and R to proc. passive on someone without a single auto at any point.

No it's working as intended, your passive does not proc its self, it needs an AA or ability to proc. Thus it is an extension of them. Similar to Brand or Darius passive.
It’s similar to the interaction with Lux and Electrocute. Ability + auto + passive proc does not trigger Electrocute like Thunderlord’s did, as you need 3 separate damage sources to proc it (which I still think it is, but Riot doesn’t).

If that's true, it's certainly not intuitive to me.
I just tested and neither Phase Rush nor Electrocute proc. from passive either. I'm sure it worked in the past though. I guess they changed how the game considers it. Another indirect Ekko nerf... :D
Romans VI XXIII1 votesIt's simple. You have to hit with 3 separate attacks. Your passive triggers off of you landing an ability or AA, thus it is not a separate instance.
