I don't know what causes it but sometimes goes into locked camera mode and clicking the icon to unlock it does nothing. This has been around even in S5 and the only solution that works for me is quitting and reconnecting. I actually got trolled by this last game and couldn't even ult. as Nocturne.
God damn. I had this happen to me earlier as Lux. I quit the client and restarted it to fix it.
If the error you're talking about is the same one I've experienced, try holding down left click on the mini-map for a second and it should go back to normal.
You can click y to lock and unlock camera
