Zhonya's + Suppress Bug

I was in an aram recently as Warwick. I ultimated their Kennen a total of two times where during the middle of it the Kennen Zhonya'd out of it. It wasn't travel time or anything because my character rendered on the screen and I saw 1-3 damage numbers from my ultimate go up THEN he would zhonya. From what I can read you can't do anything while suppressed yet he was able to Zhonya's Hourglass late enough to have already taken damage twice during an ARAM.
