Patch 5.13 - Smite procs ludens echo

So I was play AP Nidalee JG, with Rangers Smite, had Ruinglaive, Ludens and Zhonyas, and whenever i would smite, minions or camps, it would proc my ludens as well, on smite. No i did not attack it with an enchanted ruinglaive auto, or use a spell. I would stop, press s, and then smite a target, and boom, Ludens.
