[Bug] Morgana's Black Shield is absorbing Vel'koz ultimate TRUE damage as if it were magic damage

Just played a game against a morgana on the live servers and watched her black shield absorb my ult damage as magic dmg even after it triggered the passive to convert into full true damage. Please fix this.

The ray deals magic damage in 0.25 seconds intervals to enemies caught in its wake, and Slow icon slows them by 20% for 1 second. Organic Deconstruction.png Deconstruction is applied every 0.7 seconds to enemies hit, up to 3 stacks. Researched enemies take true damage instead.

To be clear: The Black Shield is absorbing the true damage while the enemy is researched as if they weren't researched and the dmg was still magic.

In these examples Morg used the shield on herself

The ult doesnt only deal true damage. Do you know for a fact it didnt just absorb the magic dmg?

Yea i know for a fact. It does magic damage until you proc the passive then the rest is true damage. I watched as the black shield continued to eat the true damage after the conversion

i could be wrong but i think only vel's passive is true damage

The ult does magic damage until you proc the passive. Once popped, the remainder of it is true damage.

Not sure why you're downvoted, if you're right this is a bug. Try to recreate it with a friend and share the replay?

Random thought though, if you run dft maybe you saw the dft eating at the shield while the ulti ignored it? I wouldn't expect morg E to last more than like a second if it was actually eating Vel'koz ulti, the shield value is pretty low.

when spellshielding velkoz ult it also disables her to get the passive stacked because it is an affect that is treated like blind or braums passive or anything that stacks. if i remember correctly
