The most WTF bug I've ever seen

Am i alone in this? I launch the League client for the first time today, but out of nowhere, the client tries to connect me to a game instead of taking me to the home page. The screen goes black as if I'm joining a game in progress. The weirder part? I hear Chinese players/streamers playing the game! DAFUQ!!??

Then, the game says me network has failed so it takes me back to the client which keeps saying "Game in Progress". Hilarious bug, but how in the world do I fix this?
