Cannot Log Into League of Legends - Client Error

Upon entering my credentials into the appropriate fields, when I click "Launch" it tries to log into the NA servers ( I checked to make sure I was on the correct server) and then goes through a series of "Failed to receive a response...etc Attempt (1)" all the way through* "Attempt (3)"*. Inevitably after the third attempt it prompts me with an error message saying that there is an issue connecting to the server and gives me a variety of links to resort to if I am having "said issues". I went to the troubleshooting page, did the necessary steps that pertained to my specific issue and yet it is still doing the same thing. I have done this over and over with the same result. Is there something that could be done? Or could some one with the appropriate powers push this into a priority issue please? I would very much like to play at some point.

I am currently experiencing another prompt saying "Server's are currently busy.. etc" I have no idea what is going on. My brother sitting right next to me is currently in game playing just fine.** Please help!**
