Leblanc R mimic bug with quick cast range indicator * /r/leagueoflegends

Leblanc's mimic is bugged since the quickcast change in 5.7. it seems to be mostly mimic distortion i'm not sure if it occurs with other mimics. Play with quick cast and select display range indicator when using quick cast. the new option "cast the pressed spell upon pressing another spell doesn't seem to effect.

In the reddit post, leblanc first casted E so her R is now set to mimic E. And then leblanc casted W R but the mimic distortion indicator sticks around as shown. Another case which i tested myself in custome game, if leblanc recently casted W her R is set to mimic W. Then when leblanc tries to cast QR, Q would cast and then mimic W's indicator pops up and sticks around the cursor. These 2 are 100% reproducible.

Lastly, before the change i can just press QRE quickly (almost at the same time) and the 3 abilities will cast in that order; R will follow after Q even though Q hasn't finished casting. Now it seems that while i press QRE, Q is casted. And when Q finishes casting it's around the same time i press E. In the end i only casted QE and R is skipped. There are no similar occurrences with other champions i think mostly because they don't have 2 targeted spells of identical range and cast time to be used in quick succession. This one is not as reproducible as it mostly has to do with how fast you press and release your spells. It seem to occur mostly when you press the spells quickly almost at the same time.

After writing this, i think i might be similar to many people's problem with botrk active even when they're not spamming keys. I'm surprised not many people have reported this problem with leblanc, i personally find it extremely clunky now and often cause you to cast the wrong spell, or confuse you when distortion's indicator randomly shows up in the middle of your combo.
