Broke League Client. oops =/ reinstalling
Hello, so i noticed that there are 5 total processes (at least for me) while league client patcher is up, the one you have to click LAUNCH on. Then, after it went to the login screen client, i noticed now there were only 1 process called "lol client.exe".
I have been experience a lot of lag lately, which i personally believe its riot's problem, but to try to do what i can on my end, i did 2 things. 2 things i cant undo without re-installing, and even then im still waiting to see if it's fixed.
- I set lol client.exe affinity to "realtime" priority.
- I set "run as administrator".
Now, when i launch league, the patcher comes up fine. I click LAUNCH, it goes away and thats it. nothing else happens. i can even launch league again and it wont ask me "there is already a process running do you want to continue?".
so one of the above (possibly both) made league client (not patcher) kill itself immediately after starting it. its when i click the orange LAUNCH box on the patcher, league just poops out.
no idea how to fix it, but I'm re-installing as we speak so hopefully there are all new settings on what i did. =/
