Nami E audio bug

This is a report as much as it is a question.

Casting Nami's E on herself or an ally would give them the buff. Whenever you or the ally autoattacked with Tidecaller's Blessing, it used to make a distinct splashing sound every time the auto landed.

Several patches ago I realized it no longer does this, and instead makes an extremely faint sound instead.

Is this intentional?

If it is, why? I really liked the sound because it helped me identify what was happening without having to look.
