Champ Select Freezes at 0

Just got kicked out of a champion select after not being able to choose any options. I loaded in like normal, but when I went to select my champion I clicked to narrow it to jungle then tried to click Taliyah to no avail. It then counted down to 0 and so I went to ban yi, again i narrowed it down by searching his name but i never could click him or even hover to ban. I was talking to my teammates the whole time and they said it happened to them as well, but it started working after a few seconds. It never started working for me even after it told me everyone left the lobby (i'm assuming it counted me as dodging). I have had buggy champion selects all 3 of my ranked games so far and this one was by far the worst. After having to completely close to end the entire ordeal i then couldn;t reopen my client until i reset it to an earlier version.

I know this is a very old topic, but since I know ppl are still experiencing this problem I'd like to spread my information about it. This problem accrued to me as well, and Riot is no help at all when creating tickets. I contacted my ISP since I read that the problem could occur due to the ISP blocking some connections. Contact your ISP and make sure your connection is set to public and not private since this can cause some problems with your connection to the Riot servers.

My wife has had a ton of client issues, going back to an older version or, and this one happens a lot, someone not on our team will dodge a queue and she'll be stuck in the same champ select when we get our next accept notification. She can hear the noise and everything but the client never changes over.

You mean like that? Zed's pick frozen on 0, I'm still able to read and send chat, and then you see everyone disconnect because it's your turn to lock in a champ and you're unable to.

This issue has been around for over a year, I get it quite often and often have to put up with 30min leaver buster because of all my "dodging". I've trolled through past posts and forum discussions and have had no luck on finding any Riot member even acknowledging this bug.

This happened to someone else on my team 10 minutes ago. Now im stuck in lobby with no way out. Can't leave and can't queue up no matter what I do.

Another 30min queue timer for "dodging". Played a game fine, then the next two freeze in champ select. Such a fun game.

There is never an issue in ARAM or URF, and the issue seems to be less when solo queue as opposed to duo. But I get at least 2 30minute queue timers a week for all my dodges. Probably lost over 300LP solely from glitched champ selects. Missed out on three promos due to glitched champ selects, and still a Riot employee has never even acknowledged the problem.

bump, This issue is plaguing me, all riot wants to do is have me send firewall configs to them, repeatedly, like doing it for the 4th tim will magically fix the issue. Riot, ITS THE CLIENT. there is something wrong with it, There is no issue with players connection, Its your damned software.

Very similar to that, I have the picture saved at home but I don’t even think it showed me bans, and I would have been first pick on red side but I never saw if it was me who didn’t pick or the first pick on blue.
