I can no longer open LoL or play the game

Every time I press on LoL to open it, I can't even get to the "Launch" screen. I immediately get redirected to bugsplat. Not even the League logo pops up. Just straight to bugsplat.

I have a mac. I don't think it was because of the new patch, because here's what happened: I had previously opened League and managed to play with the preseason 6 changes just fine. Later in the day, I tried opening League and suddenly this started happening. Nothing significant happened to my computer in that time interval. I've already sent in a support ticket but I'm looking for as many ways as possible to fix this problem.

Why would this happen? Does anyone else have this problem? And what can I do to fix it?
