God King Event Timer bug?

I was trying to grind out my last quest tonight because I'm sitting at 145 tokens and wanted that swanky border. The quest timer was at 1 day 9 hours only a few hours before hand so I figured I'd try to grind it out tonight and have a full day if I couldn't get any wins, and then they suddenly disappeared after my latest game.

Any way I can get those 5 tokens? Was the timer glitched or are my quests glitched?

Edit: After reloading the client the quests came back at their correct progress, but it asked me to re-pick a side for the event.
