Current Patch 8.1 (with today's Hotfix) is triggering in-game crashes

Just giving a headsup here. The most recent mini-patch that went out today has been triggering repeated crashes of the in-game client on my system. (Using the in-client repair tool has not fixed the problem. Nor has a complete uninstall and re-install of the game.) Just curious to see if anyone else has encountered the same problem.

I have the same problem after Update ,game just crash and no way to go in game again,they crash always .

i have the same problem here. After restarting the pc i can reconnect. Sometimes it says i need to update my drivers (but they are up to date). Im not sure what to do, i did open a ticket but only got the hextech repair tool as tip, which didn't work.
