Before 6.5, each champion's selection quote would be played when they were locked in, regardless of who picked them or on which team.
This behaviour is broken in 6.5, the champion selection quotes no longer play for any champion other than your own.
Senor Crouch13 votesAdd me to the list of people this has been happening to. This better be a bug, I loved hearing all the champions' voices. Made the mood epic and exciting....now it feels boring almost.
Jeddy0174 votesHappens to me too.I checked the patch notes to see if this was part of the update,but it wasn't there.So why am I not hearing champ quotes in champ select? Is this a bug or did someone forget to add that to the patch notes?
Variks the Loyal3 votesI really hope they didn't remove this, it was really cool.
It got me pumped to play the game, seeing all the champions shout their battle cries before the fight begins.
It also let me be lazy, and know who was picked while I was tabbed out doing something else.
Tentacle Advisor3 votesI can second this. Or third it. Or whatever numbered response I may be at this time. In all honesty, this is actually quite frustrating for me, as I enjoyed hearing the quotes. Especially, Jhin's and Kindred's.
Nameless Voice1 votesIt's nice to hear the quotes of champions that you don't personally play yourself. Normally, you'd almost never hear them.
Xosra2 votesYeah i have had the same thing happen to me multiple games today.
Barkingspider732 votesSame thing happens to me as well
SpookyNeedle2 votesIt's a bug, rioter confirmed it on another post. Khatey Khaos
BattleBalladeer2 votesRIP the Gragas and Singed duos who queued just to have their 30 seconds of awesome.
Also playing Veigar will never be the same again...
Comrade Napoleon1 votesyeah i noticed it yesterday, i thought it was removed intentionally
Olee1 votesforreal
Solerian1 votesI too have this bug, seems pretty universal at this rate.
Can't wait to have the quotes back ;-;
WeFlyNoLie1 votesYes, I have been experiencing this since 6.5, I hope it is fixed. The only champion select quote I hear is my own.
