Serious Sona Bug

Every single game that I play sona, the first Q of the game that hits a champion or monster causes the team to freeze up for one second. It has a 100% occurrence rate, at least in ranked, which is the only place I've played. I've managed to deal with it by just using my first Q on red/blue buff, but it is a serious liability when invading or being invaded, because everyone lags. I'm not sure if it causes the enemy team to lag as well, but I suspect it does because they seem to back off when it happens too. It happens every game, and my duoqueue partner who is on skype with me confirms it every time. I periodically ask my teammates if they experienced lag at that moment, and they say they did. Please fix it riot, its seriously annoying.

I played Sona recently and I have never had that issue. Could it be the animation effects are causing issues for your computer? Maybe lower the graphics settings?

It happens to my entire team. I duo with my best friend who is on skype with me. We both lag at the same time, and we have different computers in different cities. I have also asked teammates about it after my first Q, and they report that they lag as well. Its definitely not my computer, my computer is very good and I don't drop frames for the rest of the game.
