Keybindings Fail
I use Attack Move on the left mouse button and changed the settings so that my middle scroll button (Button 3) can click the map, turrets etc. to get stats without moving my character. I also have this button set to one of the options for "Target Champions Only".
Relevant parts from PersistedSettings.json:
"settings": [
{
"name": "evntHudMoveableSelect",
"value": "[Button 1],[Shift][Button 1],[Button 3]"
},
{
"name": "evtChampionOnly",
"value": "[CapsLock],[Button 3]"
},
When a game starts, the middle mouse button CANNOT click turrets or any other unit to get stats. However, if I quickly unbind, press OK, then rebind it back, it works fine for both target champions only and getting stats on units or clicking the map. It's a REALLY weird bug. Idk why this fixes it. It's as if every game with this setup, I need to do this unbind and rebing to fix it. I have no keyboard rebinds in my OS, no macros, no anything that could interfere with league's bindings in any way.
It's not unplayable without the fix since I can use attack move to get stats or just shift click but it's still annoying. It would be great if this were fixed.
Also, I don't have the left click binded to attack move from the settings. It's done through the text file based on a Reddit post from years ago. However, using the interface button didn't seem to help anyway.
BTW: I've also tried switching the CapsLock bind order and even removed it but there's no difference. The issues is the same and so is the fix.
EDIT: I've completely reset my settings to defaults for everything. Then, I enabled the setting to bind attack move to left click and also changed target champions only to MB3 (my scroll wheel). These are the only changes I made and it STILL fails. At the start of every game, I can't click my own turrets with MB3 or get the info for anything else. If I Unbind->press OK->Rebind to MB3, it works properly and functions as Attack Champions Only while also letting me click game elements for info. Idk what's going on to make this break so weirdly.
Of course, in my own setup, MB3 is more useful because I can click the map without moving or shop elements etc. It saves me from having to use Shift-Click just to click the map or interact with the interface. I think it should be a basic setting but that old Reddit thread did have a workaround to make it function with MB3. It's a shame to run into this bug. I really liked the setup otherwise.
