[GAMEPLAY] After firing Xeraths last ult shot, Sylas can basic attack ONCE at Xeraths ultimate range

The bug: after firing Xerath's last ultimate charge, Sylas can basic attack at Xerath's ult range. I haven't tested if this is ANYWHERE within its range, but i auto attacked the enemy xerath right after firing the last ult shot at him (proccing grasp of the undying) at about 6 times Sylas' basic attack range and 3 times Xerath's basic attack range.

EDIT: Video with proof and example.

How could a champion with 140+ unique interactions that mutate as the game changes possibly have any bugs? Sylas is the best idea ever and will be very easy to balance.

Rubick can steal many times more abilities than Sylas and is mostly okay.

(then again, this is the smol and defendless indie company that took years to give us a practice tool and replays...)

Aaaaaah I was hoping to see his arms stretch half way across the jg.

Damn that's a bigger range than ADC autos.

Interesting find. I saw the basic attack damage on xerath and the ??? started rollin'.

I wonder if this bug is only Sylas-Xerath interaction? If we remember the bug(exploit?) that allowed Xerath to fire Q's from fountain down range. There could be other bugs regarding long range ults… Maybe Sylas-Jhin?

It might work with Jhin's ult but I'd have to actually confirm it.

I don't want to spam this, but I think it has to do with how the closing of these long range animations corresponds to Sylas's model. My particular theory with Xerath is already on here.

I find that point-and-click Half Health heal to be way more bullshit. Such a stupid ability.

The only reason it's even problematic is because he has an AP scaling shield. "Half health healing" sounds scary until you realize he's usually healing half of 900 HP. There are several other champions that do the exact same thing. Warwick Darius Swain Illaoi

Sylas coming out of Elise spider form causes the entire game to freeze for half a second for everybody playing.

Also the cooldowns for Sylas abilities come out with cooldowns, not sure how that interaction works with Elise herself though. I thought her abilities all had their own seperate cooldowns.

Not having any delay myself when transforming into Elise. And yes, he keeps all his current cooldowns when changing into Elise, Jayce or Nidalee. Despite the originals having separate cooldowns.

Yeah I just watched my replays and it seems that Sylas cooldowns just freeze until he turns back into Sylas.

But the issue with going from spider form into human form as Sylas is still there. Happened to me twice in two different games. Maybe it only happens the first time though, as i did it multiple times in the second game and it only froze once.

So that’s why I auto attacked the air yesterday huh.

Bug probably has to do with the outward expansion of the ring that is xerath's ult range. After firing off the last shot, that ring starts closing in to signal the completion of the ultimate. With Xerath, this animation is him reverting to his normal state from his "rooted" siege cannon state, meaning he's morphing back and can't attack. But Sylas's model doesn't do that. It allows him to move and attack immediately afterwards, and that range indicator hasn't fully reverted yet. I think somewhere within the range of that reverting ring is considered his actual range until it closes around him completely again. The actual closure takes probably around 0.5s...but that's still plenty of time to pop the autoattack off, and actually better explains why it only works immediately after the shot is fired.
