Match wouldn't load

So I started a ranked match and everything seemed fine. I loaded to 100% quickly as usual... Everyone else was loading and hit 100% too. I was just waiting on one guy who was stuck at 17%

A minute goes by... Then another. At this point I feel like something is wrong so I close the LOL process and restart. I log in, reconnect, and it takes me to the load screen where it loads me to 100% and then... nothing. It just sits there.

I close out and restart again. This time it won't even start loading any percentage at all.

I close out one more time... closing out of any LOL process running (launcher, client, etc)

Log in, and finally it loads to 100% and puts me in the game... 11 minutes into the game with my tower already gone and my team behind by over 5 kills.

I've played 500+ games and I've only ever encountered other people having loading issues, or even maybe the servers crashing and EVERYONE not loading... but I've never had a situation where I loaded to 100% and then watched one last person not load and somehow it was ME who wasn't loading in. By the way, the guy who was stuck at 17% loaded in with everyone else just fine.

We really need more of a visual indicator that something is wrong. I mean, I'm already at 100% load and then it just sits there... My only indication is that some other guy's percentage isn't moving after a while. So I have to sit there and monitor everyone to make sure they aren't stuck... The thing is... sometimes people do take a long time to load. So I figured that was the case here. But the guy apparently loaded in fine and on my screen it just showed him stuck, so my game refused to put me in the match.
