It appears in the text of Hextech ultimatum that opponents may not leave Hextech ultimatum by any means

[Bug] Camille's target can escape Hextech ultimatum by being subject to Tahm Kench's [Devour], which is directly counter to [Hextech Ultimatum]'s skill text

this can be repeated multiple times in testing, by using Devour on a target under the effect of [Hextech Ultimatum]

If I remember correctly they don't actually leave it. When tahm spits them Out they get pulled Back into the field
