in game screen issues

Can't play a game without summoning my taskbar every 5 seconds (literally) in borderless or windowed mode, can't play in full screen either because it flickers like crazy and makes the game super choppy, feels like I'm playing at 10 fps.

Any tips or pointers on how to fix?
