I can't mark any new messages as unread. Also unsure if I can even receive new messages.
Edit: I first thought it was just my phone (Iphone 5) having a weird interaction with safari. I logged off and back in and it was still there. It is also on my mac, google chrome Version 46.0.2490.86 (64-bit). I should specify that it is one message that doesn't get marked as unread.
Responding to it did not solve the problem.
I click on it and went to the comment but it's still there. It says there is 1 comment and it's the same one. It's not marked as unread. Is this your issue? Its my issue.

I have that problem. ~~It is only the last message that remains for me. ~~ A new message just appeared and refuses to go away. The first message that stayed was the last one I got before logging in earlier on today. I have the additional issue that my comments do not register as posted until I refresh the page (which has led to some embarrassing quintuple posts). A similar problem occurs while editing. I also automatically downvote my comments (which is weird). EDIT: Sometimes I also suspect that Boards is eating my data allowance. I am not sure about that though. Furthermore, I am unable to post new threads at the moment. I am piggybacking off yours. Thanks by the way.
I am using Chrome, Version 46.0.2490.86 m, I have not downloaded any recent programmes and the problem started about 8 hours ago.
