Retreat Ping Acting Like Normal Ping

I have my Retreat Ping hotkeyed to v, but when I tried using it last match it kept acting like the normal blue ping instead of the yellow caution one. Right now I have v set to Danger until this is fixed. I swapped it and re-keyed it but it's still the same.

Update : I just entered a Custom Game to re-test it and rebind it to several different keys, every single time it acts like the normal blue ping, including when used on structures monsters plants and enemy champions. It does this for both Set 1 and Set 2.

Both me and my brother have been having this issue, too. Maybe it's a problem with the v key itself?

Riot confirmed it's a bug. Supposedly you can hold ctrl and click to ping it as well.
