PBE boards won't recognize my login

just got accepted to the PBE and i'm waiting for the servers to come back online so i thought i'd log into the message boards and look around. well as soon as i went to enter my username and password and hit enter i get told that my username and/or password is not correct... that can't be... i've had this account for over 2 years now and i'm pretty sure i know what they are. is this a bug? is there an issue with new PBE players not getting recognized by the server and forums at the moment?
