Game somehow made me vote "No" despite being DCed.

So I was trying to play a match recently where at the 1:55 mark exactly, my game froze. I tried everything I could but was forced to restart my computer.

When attempting to rejoin the game I had 3 reconnect failures, and by the time I was put back into the game it was over and I was thrust into the post-match lobby where I found out that SOMEHOW, despite not even being in the game, I voted "No" on the surrender vote. So I'm getting reported for trolling when I honestly was not in-game to vote. Even if I was, being afk for 20+ minutes should've forfeited my vote anyhow.

If you don't vote within the time limit, it counts as abstaining.

Over 70% of your team has to vote yes for a surrender to occur.

If you abstained, you didn't vote yes.

There is a good chance that you were connects when the vote occurred, or recently enough that it included you in the total players.

But even if I was CONNECTED, which I wasn't because the closest I got was 98% before getting disconnected again, I was still afk for long enough for a surrender vote to happen. I was unable to move so I should've counted as AFK right?

It depends on when the system counts you as connected to the game.

It's possible that it counts you as reconnected once you hit the loading screen, even if you haven't reached 100% yet, since you have technically connected to the match even if you can't act yet. How often do you see people with connection issues reconnect and immediately disconnect again before they have even been able to move or chat?

Also, unless another player was disconnected as well, at least one of your teammates would have had to not vote to surrender for the game to continue, so at least one of them wanted the game to keep going.
