Gangplank Bug > Can't Upgrade Ultimate

I just played a game as Gangplank, and was unable to upgrade my ultimate at the shop. I had 500+ silver serpents, but it was grayed out in the shop and I was not able to purchase. I'm not sure what caused this. I'm thinking it might be due to facing another Gangplank, and game didn't recognize correctly.

There is a workaround where you can buy the upgrades by switching away from the "recommended" window to the search window
