Rengar doesn't get bonetooth necklace stacks if the enemy dies while he's dead (ignite/tower shots)

I was holding mid tower as jungle Rengar, when I was dove by Syndra and Xin Zhao. I died, but they also both died from the tower, giving me a double kill, and I didn't get stacks on Bonetooth Necklace.

You need to have dealt damage to them within 1.5 second before they died. If one died for ignite it might be a bug. But the one who died from tower shots not necessarily. May you add a video to your post?
