New league client is really clunky and slow...

I just updated the new client and went into a ranked flex queue, and it literally dodged because I couldn't lock in my ban in time just because of the lag. I clicked Irelia (who I was banning) and the client basically froze for like 15 seconds and then it said I didn't lock in my ban. This cost me a game in my promos (although I don't really care since it's preseason lol.) Anyone else find the new client really laggy? I switched right back after and the old one's fine.
