Cant see friends list
When logging into the LoL client I cant see the friends list or connect to the chat server, whats going on? My friend is having the same issue.

Yeah, i can't login and i cant even login to the league client via mobile this needs to be top priority right now.
Got a "unknown error" issue as well, Rito needs to get crackin'.

No friends list. Cannot connect to chat. I lost 21 lp on a ranked that would not launch.... they did a /remake. Careful playing ranked right now. I'm going to stick to norms until the problem is resolved.
As of this post there are 8 (eight) separate issues on the service status screen of the forums that Riot is aware of. Eight. I assume all of the new content and modes they've rolled out with worlds had some unexpected conflicts in the code. Thinking it might get worse before it gets better folks. Hold onto your butts.
I am as well, I just lost a promo game to game crashing in champ select. I would recommend to not play ranked till they get their crap fixed
Along with not being able to connect to chat and play with friends, I also can't get into loot or crafting inventory. Although I should have earned a box, it didn't say I did. I'd hate for it to have just glitched me out of a box.
I find it really sad that so many league players are so toxic about this issue. Yes, I understand it's a big invonvienence, but being rude is not going to fix it faster. Have faith in Riot, I'm sure they are doing the best they can.
Eastern US here. Having the same problem. I think it is a bug in riots client. I guess the best thing we can do is wait it out. Sorry I couldn't help with this one.

Still happening to me here in Ontario. There's a popup saying an unknown error is occurring. Keeps popping up every time I try logging in or doing something in the client. I can't load Hextech Crafting or the Store either. Keeps saying loading failed.
I cant see my crafting inventory either< is this just me

Same issue here in Ontario Canada. It's not just a small area affected by this issue, it is the whole server.
Having this problem from the West coast, on both the Alpha Client and Legacy Client. Definitely a server issue.

Midwest here, got the chat and friends list problems, and weird lag all over the place. The lagging has gotten worse over the last couple weeks in general though for some reason. Get an "unknown error" twice whenever I log in.
I'm in the Midwest and it wont let me connect to chat or play with friends, this should be fixed immediately
