Experiencing random disconnects without Avast! installed.

Other online programs continue to function unhindered, my little internet icon in the system tray never says anything about losing connection, whenever it happens I quickly alt tab to Firefox and load up YouTube, which immediately appears, no problem.

Now I'm not a networking guy, but I feel like I know enough about computers that I would wager this isn't an issue on my end, and just wanted to let you guys know so you don't tunnel on the Avast! thing and maybe end up missing a similar but different issue that is also occurring! :D

Let me know if you need any kind of diagnostic thingies, I don't know where to find them but would be willing to grab them and upload if you tell me where.

This just happened in a ranked game as Voli and I were standing at Jax's red waiting for him to show up, and when I reconnected Voli was dead and pretty angry with me. Jax was smurfing and pressed his lead to win the game for his team.

I tired playing on a new computer with no Antivirus installed and i got the same problems i think it has to do with IP addresses that change.

Same with me. Using AVG / Windows 7 and disconnected from both arams I tried to play. Restarting the computer would allow me to reconnect for a very brief time before disconnecting again :(

I have uninstalled Avast and the problem remains unchanged. I'm kinda happy that this happened right before I bought some RP for a few new skins.

It's a good reminder that Riot has long since lost what made them a company worth rewarding

I was so happy last night when I saw this solution. So simple! Just uninstall a hidden firewall that Windows 10 automatically put on my computer. Great!

I've spent the last 2-3 hours trying many variations of uninstalling Avast (running in safe mode, not in safe mode, on the admin account, checking all the Avast program options, etc). Nothing for Avast shows in my program files. Still, League dc's every 30-40 seconds.

Best part, none of my friends are having any issue, just me :)

Guys..... I too have AVG and was concedering just uninstalling the program. I just renewed it like 2 months ago. I know for a fact McAfee has no issues..... My two friends both have McAfee and are playing with no problems. After reading your posts I don't know what the hell to do. What if o buy McAfee and it still happens??? Avast is AVG. Roit is blaming avast for the dc....I feel Riot washed their hands on this problem and just tells us to use a different antivirus until the problem is fixed. Has anyone called AVG on this ??? I'm going to try to contact them today and I'll post you guys. If anyone else can call AVG and get some info that would be cool. Looks like were on our own here guys.BTW using Windows 10 AVG 64 bit
