While I don't have a picture, I remember engaging in a lvl 1 trade against a Riven (100% AD champion) and I got a magic shield.

Steps to reproduce? Just start the game and it will be a magic shield against her as long as she doesn't state otherwise through dealing AD damage to champions, then it actually fixes itself.

This bug shits on my lane so hard against her at times, it's disgusting. Riot, please fix whatever may cause this

The Camille shield analyzes the damage a champion has done throughout the game, and then gives you a shield against the one with the most damage. so it's basically saying if Riven has done 0 damage, camille is getting a magic shield, until Riven has done 1 point of AD damage.

I'm pretty sure it reads your AD and AP numbers and generates a shield based on the higher number. I've seen the shield change after a champ has purchased a new item. If it analyzed damage through the game, it wouldn't ever change, and plus, that kind of calculation would be overly complex when trying to register 5 enemies at once.

Yeah, this is true. I was more of speaking to the point of Riven early game. It's extremely unlikely that Riven will be doing any magic damage more than her AD. Thunderlord's is the only way I can think of her to do magic damage level 1... maybe corrupting potion (doubt she'll get it), so once she does 1 point of ad, she's probably doing more physical than magical damage. It will change if you start switching the amt of one type you do.

The shield only switches to AD after Riven deals damage to a champion in the game, if she hasn't damaged any champions, the shield would be ap

If the Riven had masteries and runes that pushed her starting AP numbers higher than her starting AD numbers, this would cause Camille to trigger the AP shield against her. If this doesn't happen every time you face Riven, this is what is happening.

I know I have faced Riven as Camille and I always trigger the AD shield.
