Changed Ranked to Top of Game Types List? That's INSANE!

The Game Type select has always been, from top down:

• Normal Blind Pick
• Normal Draft Pick
• Ranked Draft Pick
• Ranked Teams Draft Pick

And when Team Builder was added, it was at the top of all of them.

Today, Ranked has been moved to the TOP of the list. In fact, it's not even next to Ranked Teams any more! So you can see Ranked still at the bottom of the list, and probably not notice it's also at the top.

• Ranked Teams Draft Pick

So if you aren't paying close attention, you will PROBABLY pick ranked by accident. Or, as I did, you may even noticed it, but get busy talking to your kid and switched out and back into the interface a couple of times, then lose track and end up in the wrong one,

I suspect that I'm not the only one who got screwed by this, unknowingly wasting my first Ranked qualifier on my first experiment with the new Draft.

I was inexperienced with the new mode, struggling to understand it ("Do I ban yet? Where do I ban? Oh, not yet? NOW I do? I'm almost out of time, any bans you guys want? Too late!") rather than focusing on the best bans and picks.

I did not even REALIZE I was in ranked until it was far too late. I like Maokai support, but wouldn't have chosen him in ranked. Someone mentioned it right before the match launched.

With all that against me, I was likely to lose, as did indeed happen.

How many players are going to end up playing ranked unintentionally, messing up their elo when they probably wanted to practice the new select a few times first?

What's worse is that if this isn't a bug, it had to be done intentionally.
To what end?
