[UPDATE: I seem to have gotten the time of the bug wrong, or the link wrong. But look at my follow-up below. It includes a CLEAR example, you can see the bug plain as day, for a long time, at 18:30: http://www.replay.gg/?r=NA1&id=1974047476&key=OmZ%2FXHhh9ruSRm0yOeD7Krc%2FkGIantGB ]

When attacking a jungle camp, the large monster's health keeps resetting as if it were out of patience, even though I leap straight onto it (alpha strike) and it never has a chance to move at all. I stand there autoattacking it, and after a bit I suddenly realize its health bar (which is way too easily obscured, by the way) keeps bouncing back to full the instant after the damage registers.

If I look closely, each hit I do is showing up as damage, which almost instantly heals exactly as if I were chasing a monster back to camp that was out of patience. But this is while it's standing on its spawn point.

  1. Play a League of Legends™ match.
  2. Be in the jungle, maybe with Yi. I happened to be playing Yi both games (in a row) where I noticed this problem, so I can't say for certain whether it's all champs.
  3. In all three cases I noticed it, I probably engaged the camp with an alpha strike of the large monster. I know it'd be better to draw aggro THEN alpha strike, to avoid getting hit, but I'm being lazy in games I expect to win. For all I know, the form of engage is triggering the monster impatience.
  4. Stand and autoattack him. That's what Yi does. It's his thang.
  5. Notice that the large monster's his health isn't going down. Well, it's going down during the damage, then instantly healing to full.
  6. Continue autoattacking and he keeps healing.
  7. Interrupt with a second Alpha Strike. Monster seems to reset to normal and can be killed with subsequent autoattacks.

This does NOT happen every camp. It's occurred at least three times in two games. Quite possibly a fourth time, the incident that caused me to start watching for it and see the other three. I've seen this once on Krugs (which wasn't a word in Chrome's dictionary), once on Raptors, and the other time was in the top jungle, either wolves or Blue, not sure which.

I've attached a link to the replay.gg of a game where it happens near 18 minutes, I believe I was at raptors for that one, It happened earlier in the game at Krugs, but I didn't notice the time.

Incidentally, I think I didn't smite for the benefit in each case, which I'd normally do. I didn't need the Krug stun, was so put off by the Raptor not taking damage that I forgot, and in a previous game I was probably attacking Wolves when my smite was down, just for Devourer. I mention this because when I initiate with Smite it may keep the problem from becoming manifest.

Dunno if the replay is of any use to the devs. But at least you can see it happen and know this isn't part of some laudanum-based fever dream.

I also have had this problem with Master Yi Krugs where I alpha strike and smite while in the middle of alpha strike, I had this happen when I was getting leashed and it still did it until Krugs got back to full health. I think I have a video as well and if you need it I can add it Riot.
